The Division of Engineering and Applied Sciences is experiencing a renaissance of new technology and creativity. To accommodate this change, DEAS is implementing a building initiative to create new facilities and revitalize existing spaces. The architecture of these spaces should reflect the leading-edge research and forward-thinking spirit of the faculty. Douglas Okun & Associates has had the good fortune of being part of this growth, providing architectural services for DEAS since 1990. Our mission in these projects has been to provide quality design, enabling construction at a reasonable cost. Creative approaches to design have optimized space planning at many locations within the DEAS campus, with construction costs at two-thirds of that spent by other departments for comparable facilities.
